Lone Scherfig to Direct Adaptation of Laura Wade

Acclaimed play getting silver screen treatment.

Director Lone Scherfig (‘One Day,’ ‘An Education’) has signed up to take the helm of a feature adaptation of Laura Wade’s acclaimed and controversial West End play ‘Posh,’ says Screen Daily.

Set amongst the privileged elite of Oxford University, the story follows Miles and Alistair, “two first year students determined to join the infamous Riot Club where reputations can be made or destroyed over the course of a single evening.”

Graham Broadbent and Pete Czernin are on board to produce with filming scheduled for May. Casting for the adaptation is now underway.
