Trio to lead the coming-of-age tale.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers (‘Dracula,’ ‘The Tudors’), Liv Tyler (‘The Lord of the Rings’) and young ‘Les Misérables’ actor Daniel Huttlestone are all set to star in the coming-of-age story ‘London Town,’ says Screen Daily.
Co-produced by Cargo Entertainment, Dutch Tilt Film and Killer Films, the film is a music-infused story of a teenage boy who goes to London to find his estranged mother after she sends him a cassette tape of The Clash’s ‘White Riot.’
Derrick Borte, who previously directed 2009s ‘The Joneses,’ is helming the film with the screenplay coming from Kirsten Sheridan and Sonya Gildea, with a rewrite by Matthew Brown. Filming to scheduled to kick off this summer.
