Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson’s ‘Men in Black’ spinoff has set its sights on Liam Neeson for a role, according to Variety.

With ‘Fate of the Furious’ and ‘Straight Outta Compton’ director F. Gary Gray behind the camera, the film will build on the contemporary sci-fi world established in the first three films in the franchise but will follow all new characters.

Thompson is believed to be playing a new recruit at the U.K. branch of the MIB who finds herself partnered with “former ace” MIB agent “H.” played by Hemsworth. Per Variety, Neeson will play the head of the MIB organization in London

‘Men in Black’ is currently scheduled for release in May 2019.
