Adaptation of ‘Nobody But Us’ in development.

Short film director Leanne Welham has been tapped to both write and direct a big screen adaptation of Kristin Halbrook’s novel ‘Nobody But Us’ for Haven Entertainment.

Described as a modernised update on 1967′s iconic ‘Bonnie and Clyde,’ the story follows two desperately in love teenagers on the run who make all the wrong choices in order to escape their circumstances. According to Variety, the adaptation will be renamed to ‘Will and Zoe.’

Haven Entertainment partners Rachel Miller and Matt Perniciaro will be producing, while Jesse Hara, Kevin Mann and Pouya Shahbazian of New Leaf Literary are on board to executive produce.
