True Blood star to play Charles Manson
Ryan Kwanten will play notorious killer Charles Manson in a new film.
The True Blood star confirmed at a press conference for his current film Red Hill that he is to play the convicted criminal in director Brad Anderson’s The Family.
The film focuses on Manson’s years as the leader of his murderous cult, rather than depicting his entire life story.
Manson is currently serving a life prison sentence for seven counts of murder and one count of conspiracy to murder which date back to late 1960s.
