Supernatural actioner adds Kit Harington.
‘Game of Thrones’ star Kit Harington is in final talks to join Jeff Bridges, Ben Barnes, Julianne Moore and Alicia Vikander on the cast of ‘The Seventh Son.’
The film is based on book series by Joseph Delaney, and follows Thomas Ward (Barnes), the seventh son of a seventh son, who has the unique gift of being able to see various creatures “of the dark” including ghosts, witches, boggarts and more. To learn how to deal with the forces of the dark, Thomas is apprenticed to train as a Spook under the under the tutelage of Master Gregory (Bridges).
All hell breaks loose when Thomas is tricked into releasing the most sinister witch in the world, Mother Malkin (Moore). Harington will play the former apprentice of Master Gregory.
‘Mongol’ helmer Sergey Bodrov is attached to direct, with production expected to kick off sometime in April.
