Kevin Costner Eyes CRIMINAL with Ariel Vromen

Would topline the sci-fi thriller…

Kevin Costner, who will next be seen in the McG-directed ‘3 Days to Kill,’ is in negotiations to take the lead in ‘Criminal,’ a sci-fi thriller that has Israeli-born filmmaker Ariel Vromen (‘The Iceman,’ ‘Danika’) in the director’s chair.

Per Variety, the film centres on a brain damaged criminal — implanted with the skills and memories of a murdered CIA operative — who must help the government agency finish a mission. Screenwriters Douglas Cook and David Weisberg are providing the script.

Kevin King, JC Spink, Chris Bender, and Jake Weiner are on board to produce, with Christa Campbell, Lati Grobman, Jason Bloom, Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, Boaz Davidson and Mark Gill serving as executive producers.

‘3 Days to Kill’ hits Irish cinemas June 20th.
