Bacon in talks for survival thriller…
Kevin Bacon (‘The Following,’ ‘X-Men: First Class’) has reportedly entered into talks to star in ‘Wolf Creek’ helmer Greg Mclean’s next, the survival thriller ‘Jungle.’
Penned by Justin Monjo, the film is based on Yossi Ghinsberg’s memoir ‘Lost in the Jungle’ and tells the story of a young man’s terrorizing trip to the Bolivian jungle with a sketchy guide and two pals. Their journey soon turns into a frightening psychological test of faith and human fortitude.
According to Deadline, Bacon would take the role of the guide.
The film would mark Bacon and Mclean’s second feature together, having recently wrapped on the indie supernatural thriller ‘6 Miranda Drive.’
Principal photography on ‘Jungle’ is planned for next year in Australia and Colombia.
