‘Drive’ writer-director fills outs horror tale’s supporting cast…
It has been confirmed that ‘John Wick’ star Keanu Reeves and Christina Hendricks (‘Lost River’) are set to join Elle Fanning (‘Maleficent’) on the cast of director Nicolas Winding Refn’s upcoming female-driven tale ‘The Neon Demon.’
Described as a “horror film about vicious beauty,” the film stars Fanning as an aspiring model who finds herself caught in a world of beauty and demise.
The supporting cast includes Jena Malone (‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’), Bella Heathcote (‘Dark Shadows’), and Abbey Lee Kershaw (‘Drive’).
Filming gets underway at the end of March in Los Angeles. Refn’s partner, Lene Borglum (‘Valhalla Rising,’ ‘Only God Forgives’), is producing via their company Space Rocket.
