Theroux teaming with Ferrell and Carell.
Actor/scribe Justin Theroux (‘Wanderlust,’ ‘Tropic Thunder’) has been tapped to both rewrite and direct the Will Ferrell and Steve Carell top-lined comedy ‘Swear To God.’
The film, described as two-hander, will see Ferrell playing a self-absorbed hedge fund manager who believes that he has seen God.‘Due Date’ scribes Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland penned the original draft.
Ferrell will next be seen in the Jay Roach-directed ‘The Campaign,’ co-starring Zach Galifianakis, while Carell will next hit the big screen in the romantic comedy ‘Hope Springs.’
