JURASSIC WORLD Eyes GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Star Chris Pratt

Dinosaur reboot may have found its male lead…

Back in October it was rumoured that Josh Brolin (‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,’ ‘Oldboy,’ ‘Gangster Squad’) was in the mix for the Colin Trevorrow-directed ‘Jurassic World.’ Now sources close to the project are claiming that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Star Chris Pratt is being lined up for the role originally intended for Brolin.

Should Pratt put pen to paper and commit to the dino blockbuster, he would be starring alongside Bryce Dallas Howard (‘The Help,’ ‘50/50’), Nick Robinson (‘The Kings of Summer’) and Ty Simpkins (‘Insidious: Chapter 2,’ ‘Iron Man 3’). Plot details remain under wraps.

TheWrap adds that ‘Life of Pi’ and ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ star Irrfan Khan is being sought for a supporting role, with Idris Elba (‘Thor: The Dark World,’ ‘Pacific Rim’) also rumoured to be in talks.

Principal photography on the 3D sequel is scheduled to commence early 2014 with Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley producing.
