Jorma Taccone Travels to THE GREAT UNKNOWN April 4, 2012 Five issue comic series heading to the big screen. ‘MacGruber’ director Jorma Taccone has been tapped by New Line Cinema to take the director’s chair for an adaptation of Duncan Rouleau’s comic book ‘The Great Unknown,’ reports Heat Vision. “Everything Zach Feld imagines – impossibly – shows up somewhere else. It’s as if someone is reading his mind and selling his incredible thoughts to the highest bidder. His friends and family think Zach is a freeloader with delusions of grandeur – making up one weird paranoiac story after another to defend his directionless life. They might be right. But when Zach begins to dig deeper into the mystery, he discovers that they might be very, very wrong. Has someone been sneaking around inside Zach’s mind?” Taccone, part of the Lonely Island along with Akiva Schaffer and Andy Samberg, will be directing ‘The Great Unkown’ from a script by Michael Starrbury (‘Watch Roger Do His Thing’). Mark Gordon (‘Source Code,’ ‘Saving Private Ryan’) and Jennifer Todd will produce.
