Jones files No Country lawsuit

‘No Money for Old Men’ as Tommy Lee Jones files $10m ‘No Country’ lawsuit

Tommy Lee Jones is suing the makers of his 2007 pic ‘No Country For Old Men’ for over ten million dollars.

The star alleges that he was promised “significant” bonuses depending on the success of the movie which he has not yet received.

Jones, who played Sheriff Ed Tom Bell in the critically-acclaimed picture, also claims that he had expenses wrongly deducted and that known errors in his contract were never rectified.

His publicist Jennifer Allen refused to comment any further on the suit, explaining: “The paperwork stands for itself.”

No Country For Old Men, based on a novel by Cormac McCarthy, took $160 million at the box office last year. It went on to pick up four Academy Awards, including the award for Best Picture.
