Filmmaker Rebecca Thomas, who made her feature debut with the 2012 drama ‘Electrick Children,’ has been tapped to take the helm of ‘Looking For Alaska,’ a coming-of-age story based on debut novel by ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ author John Green. Published back in 2005, the book centres on Miles “Pudge” Halter, a young boy who heads off to the sometimes crazy and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, where he meets Alaska Young, a beautiful and troubled girl who is the object of affection for most males at the school. Big announcement! The Looking for Alaska movie has its director, the brilliant Becca Thomas (@beccalouthomas).
