John Goodman (‘The Monuments Men,’ ‘Inside Llewyn Davis,’ ‘Red State’) has entered into talks to star in the Dan Trachtenberg-directed ‘Valencia.’
As previously revealed, the low-budget thriller takes place in “an underground cellar, home to a teenage girl and a caretaker. The girl woke up in the cellar after a car accident, at which point her eerie companion tells her a nuclear attack has devastated society. The girl still hopes to escape.”
Goodman will take the role of the girl’s caretaker.
The film is set up over at Paramount Pictures with J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot producing.
