John Goodman Has TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE

Another great addition to the cast of the baseball drama.

Director Robert Lorenz has enlisted John Goodman (‘The Artist,’ ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’) for his baseball drama ‘Trouble With The Curve,’ adding the actor to the cast of Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams, Justin Timberlake, Matthew Lillard and Joe Massingill.

The film follows a baseball scout (Eastwood) with vision problems who takes a road trip to Atlanta with his daughter (Adams) to take a look at a hot prospect. Last week, Timberlake landed the role of Johnny Flanagan, a former pitcher, now working as a baseball scout, and a potential love interest for the Adams’ character.

Variety says that Goodman will be playing “an old-school scout and longtime friend of Eastwood’s character who still believes in the man’s ability to spot talent.”

Goodman recently wrapped on Robert Zemeckis’ ‘Flight’ with Denzel Washington and Ben Affleck’s ‘Argo.’ The actor will soon reunite with Joel and Ethan Coen for their folk music drama ‘Inside Llewyn Davis,’ which stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan and Timberlake.
