Long-in-development biopic adds two more.

Scarlett Johansson (‘The Avengers’) and James D’Arcy (‘Cloud Atlas’) have been added to the cast of Sacha Gervasi’s ‘Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho,’ taking the roles of ‘Psycho’ stars Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins, respectively.

Written by John McLaughlin, Tom Thayer and Stephen Rebello, the film follows Hitchcock and his struggles during the filming of the 1960 horror classic. As previously reported, Anthony Hopkins will be taking the role of the legendary filmmaker, with Helen Mirren set to portray his wife, Alma Reville.

An April start date is planned with Ivan Reitman, Joe Medjuck and Tom Pollack on board as producers, along with Tom Thayer.
