Indonesian actor Joe Taslim (‘The Raid’) and British model-turned-actress Clara Paget have joined the cast of Justin Lin’s ‘Fast and Furious 6.’
Variety reports that Taslim will take the villainous role of Jah, “a cold-blooded killer who uses his martial arts and parkour skills to fight the pic’s protags.”
Details on Paget’s role in the high-octane sequel come from The Daily Mail. According to the paper’s Baz Bamigboye, the model will be playing the sidekick role of Vegh, “a gun-slinging action woman.” ‘Fast and Furious 6’ will be Paget’s most high profile role to date having previously appeared in ‘Johnny English Reborn’ and ‘One Day.’
Official plot details are scarce, but the general story outline finds Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and the rest of their crew heading to Europe to work on a heist. They soon find themselves going up against a rival crew lead by Luke Evans.
Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez are all set to return along with newcomer Gina Carano (‘Haywire’).
