Set up over at DreamWorks, the film “revolves around terrorists attacking the U.S. president’s motorcade as it navigates through Los Angeles.”

Billy Ray (‘The Hunger Games,’ ‘Captain Philips’) penned the most recent draft of the script, but Carnahan is expected to take a crack at it.

The actioner has been in development for a number of years now and had drawn the interest of the likes of Tom Cruise and Ryan Reynolds.
