Joaquin Phoenix is in talks with Clint Eastwood to join the director’s next film.
According to reports, Eastwood is looking for Phoenix to portray Clyde Tolson in his upcoming J. Edgar Hoover biopic Hoover.
Tolson was the associate director of the FBI from 1947 to 1972 and a close personal friend of Hoover. Many believe that Tolson and Hoover were a homosexual couple.
Leonardo DiCaprio is said to be attached to play Hoover.
