Jerry Bruckheimer to Shake

Wanted screenwriters board Jerry Bruckheimer’s Shake.

Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer has purchased the rights to short story “Shake,” with plans to turn it into a feature film.


Wanted screenwriters Derek Haas and Michael Brandt have been hired by Bruckheimer to adapt Haas’ original short story.


The thriller folllows an FBI agent battling his own body and the elements while hunting down a killer.


Bruckheimer’s Chad Oman and Mike Stenson spearheaded Bruckheimer’s efforts after the story was brought to their attention by Melissa Reid. All three will supervise the project.
