Bruckheimer and Disney acquire Lightspeed
Jerry Bruckheimer and Walt Disney Pictures have procured the script for space adventure Lightspeed.
Variety report that Bruckheimer and Disney paid $3.5m for the screenplay by Déjà Vu writers Terry Rossio and Bill Marsilii.
The story centres on a young pilot on the Earth Interstellar Racing Team who leads his ship on a dangerous outer space adventure.
The producers are looking to develop the film as a live-action 3D project.
