Jennifer Lopez in Talks for PARKER and WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOURE EXPECTING

Lopez in talks for two upcoming projects.

Deadline reports that Jennifer Lopez is currently in negotiations for the female lead in Taylor Hackford’s action thriller ‘Parker.’

The actress, who last starred in ‘The Back-Up Plan,’ would be star opposite Jason Statham who is attached to play the titular character, a thief who lives by a code of honour that includes never stealing money from people who need it. His word is his bond, but if he is crossed he will strike back relentlessly. The screenplay was adapted by John J. McLaughlin (‘Black Swan’) from the 1962 novel ‘Hunter’ by Donald Westlake (under pseudonym Richard Stark).

Deadline goes on to say that Lopez is also in talks to take a role in the Kirk Jones-directed ensemble comedy ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’ starring Cameron Diaz, Matthew Morrison, Ed Helms, and Isla Fisher. The movie is based on the how-to guide to preparing for childbirth by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel. The comedy follows six couples of varying ages and backgrounds in the run-up to delivery of their babies.
