Newcomer to direct zombie feature.
Canadian filmmaker Jeff Chan has been tapped by Bill Block over at QED International to take the director’s chair for the zombie tale ’19.’
Planned as a trilogy, the film will reportedly take the zombie genre in a new direction with a plot that sees everybody over the age of 19 turning into walking corpses, leaving the civilized world to be run by kids. Jim Agnew and Sean Keller are on board to provide the script.
Film 360 and McG’s Wonderland Sound and Vision are backing the film with the producers also looking to reverse engineer the idea into a series of tie-in books.
