He’s one of Frances’ biggest movie exports and despite a limited English vocabulary, has managed to win numerous big Hollywood roles in films like “The Da Vinci Code” and “Mission: Impossible”.
His latest Hollywood coup sees Jean Reno star as Ponton in”The Pink Panther 2″, the sidekick of Insp. Jacques Clouseau, portrayed by Steve Martin.
Surrounded by English and American actors whose characters have French names and, in the case of co-stars Emily Mortimer and Martin, employ fake French accents.
Here the actor tells us why he signed up for the flick, what it was like to work with Steve “The Jerk” Martin and his thoughts of their “french” accents!
