JDIFF Jury Awards 2015 announced

The Dublin Film Critics Circle announce the Jury Award Winners at this year’s JDIFF

The Dublin Film Critics Circle has announced yesterday their jury award winners from the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival 2015 programme.
The awards, in their fifth year, are thrilled to award Miroslav Slaboshpitsky’s THE TRIBE as best film of the Festival.
And the winners are…

Best Director – Ruben Östlund FORCE MAJEURE
Best Screenplay – Yuri Bykov THE FOOL
Best Cinematography Lyle Vincent, A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT
Best Documentary – COBAIN: MONTAGE OF HECK
Best Actor – Cliff Curtis THE DARK HORSE
Best Actress – Nina Hoss PHOENIX
Best Irish Film- GLASSLAND
Best Irish Documentary – FORTUNE’S WHEEL
Best Debut – Chaitanya Tamhane COURT
Special Jury Prize – A PIGEON SAT ON A BRANCH CONTEMPLATING EXISTANCE
Special Jury Prize – EDEN
Special Jury Prize – TU DORS NICOLE
Special Jury Prize – 10,000 KM
Michael Dwyer Discovery – Piers McGrail, cinematographer LET US PREY, GLASSLAND, THE CANAL

The jury of the Dublin Film Critics Circle comprises Tara Brady, Donald Clarke, Daniel Anderson, Brogen Hayes, Nicola Timmons, David O’Mahony, Gavin Burke and Paul Whitington.
