Will the Avatar director next helm Doomsday Protocol?
James Cameron is reportedly developing a new science fiction film.
According to reports, the Avatar director is working on “a sci-fi action script for, described as an ‘event’ film set in the future”.
On source suggested the project will be Doomsday Protocol, which Armageddon scribe Salerno sold to Fox last year. The story is inspired by The Seven Samurai and sees aliens and humans teaming up to save Earth.
Cameron’s latest film Avatar opens in cinemas on December 17.
