Hugh Jackman heads to China to film Snow Flower
Hugh Jackman has joined the cast of Wayne Wang’s Snow Flower and the Secret Fan.
The Wolverine star is heading to China to film the picture at the Hengdian Studio outside Shanghai, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The film centres on the lifelong relationship between two friends in 19th century China who are imprisoned by rigid codes of conduct for women.
Chinese media outlets have reported that Jackman has been cast as the male lead hwever, his publicist said: “At this point in time, he is doing an unbilled cameo.”
