Ryan must race against time to save America and his wife (Knightley). Kevin Costner is circling the role of Ryan’s mentor. Branagh is believed to have auditioned a number of actresses for the role of Ryan’s wife — including Evangeline Lilly and Felicity Jones — before casting Knightley.
