Jack Reynor to Lead Gerard Barrett’s GLASSLAND

Toni Collette, Michael Smiley, and Will Poulter co-starring…

Irish actor Jack Reynor (‘Transformers: Age Of Extinction,’ ‘Delivery Man’ ‘What Richard Did’) is set to take the lead in ‘Glassland,’ a Dublin-set indie that will co-star Toni Collette (‘Enough Said,’ ‘The Way Way Back’), Will Poulter (‘We’re The Millers,’ ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’), and Michael Smiley (‘A Field in England,’ ‘Kill List’).

Set to begin filming next month, the story follows a young taxi driver (Reynor) who gets tangled up in the world of human trafficking while trying to save his mother (Collette) from addiction.

26 year-old Kerry filmmaker Gerard Barrett (‘Pilgrim Hill’) is behind the camera, helming from his own screenplay.

The film is financed by the Irish Film Board with Ed Guiney (‘What Richard Did,’ ‘The Guard’) and Juliette Bonass (‘Get Up And Go’) of Element Pictures producing in association with Nine Entertainment. Element’s Andrew Lowe will serve as executive producer.
