Isabel Lucas (‘The Pacific,’ ‘Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen’) is in negotiations to join the English-language remake of the 2008 Belgian thriller ‘Loft,’ with original director Erik Van Looy directing.
Patrick Wilson (‘Watchmen’), James Marsden (‘Straw Dogs’), Wentworth Miller (‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’), Eric Stonestreet (‘Modern Family’) and Matthias Schoenaerts (‘Bullhead’) play five married friends who share a loft where each of them bring their mistresses. When the body of an unknown woman is found there, each begins to suspect one another of murder.
Lucas will play ‘Sarah,’ a naive young beauty who unexpectedly comes into the lives of the five friends. Wesley Strick (‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’) is adapting De Pauw’s original screenplay.
