Spanish director set for fantasy romance.
‘Elegy’ helmer Isabel Coixet has closed a deal to take directing duties for the fantasy romancer ‘The Age of Adaline.’
The script by Mills Goodloe and Sal Paskowitz follows a young woman, born at the turn of 20th century, who is rendered ageless after an accident. After years of a solitary life, she meets a man who might be worth losing her immortality.
Katherine Heigl (‘One for the Money,’ ‘Knocked Up’) was attached to star when then project was first announced but the actress is no longer attached.
