We all live in cottages, drink whiskey for dinner and Wales is just a short drive down the road. At least if you believe ‘Leap Year’, the new comedy starring Amy Adams and Matthew Goode.
There is a tradition that on a leap year in Ireland it is acceptable for a woman to ask a man to marry her, and that’s the basic premise of ‘Leap Year’. It has a feel of ‘PS I Love You’ about it but with slightly better Irish accents.
Expect the Irish tourism trade to go up every leap year thanks to this movie.
