Kate Winslet talks about her Oscar winning role in The Reader - on DVD from Friday

"You are only as good as your last job - acting is a very, very hard thing to do and I love it. I love the challenge of it and that's ultimately why I want to be doing it for the rest of my life"

If we're to believe Kate from our latest Movies.ie interview - she'll up there with Hollywood's biggest and brightest - with not one but two astonishing performances this month; first as Hanna Schmitz in Holocaust pic "The Reader" and this weekend she reunites with her "Titanic" co-star Leonardo Dicaprio in the ‘50s drama piece "Revolutionary Road"

Here Paul Byrne
met up with Kate to discuss the films - will her infamous Holocaust joke in "Extras " come back to haunt her come Oscar season? Click play below to see what she thinks!

"The Reader" is on DVD from Friday, May 22nd.

yeah - plus, the trailer is great - so much atmosphere. Can't beat a bit of 50s repression.

Can't wait for this one - though Kate needs to tone it down - some serious over acting going on at the Award cermonies!
