Interview with PJ Hogan for Confessions of a Shopaholic

The man behind “Muriel’s Wedding” and “My Best Friend’s Wedding” talks about his first film in five years “Confessions of a Shopaholic”

He became an international success story when “Muriel’s Wedding”, the miniscule-budget landmark Aussie film became a worldwide hit

Since then, P.J. Hogan’s career has had its ups and downs, from the huge success of “My Best Friend’s Wedding”, to the largely unseen “Unconditional Love”. Now Hogan is back with the film adaptation of the best selling books, “Confessions of a Shopaholic” starring Isla Fisher as would-be journalist Rebecca Bloomwood turned shopaholic

Here, Paul Byrne sits down with Hogan to discuss his five-year absence from the bigscreen and working along side Mrs Sacha Baron Cohen aka Isla Fisher.
