The romantic thriller from Simon Aboud
Imogen Poots (‘Fright Night’) and Craig Roberts (‘Submarine’) will lead the cast of Simon Aboud’s feature debut ‘Comes a Bright Day’ with Kevin McKidd and Timothy Spall on board to co-star.
Poots and Roberts will play hostages in the romantic thriller set during the armed robbery of one of London’s most exclusive jewellers. Kevin McKidd will play the robber and Timothy Spall takes the role of the store owner.
Talking to Screen Daily, director Aboud said, “I can’t wait to get started with Craig and Imogen and I’m really excited that Kevin and Timothy are joining us. Kevin’s going to bring some real intensity and energy to his role as a very idiosyncratic armed robber and we’ll fall totally in love with Tim’s Charlie.”
Producer Nigel Thomas (‘Killing Bono,’ ‘The Wind That Shakes the Barley’) added, “Simon’s script is funny, gripping and full of heart, and with a brilliant cast, we’re thrilled to be part of this wonderful project.”
Shooting begins next week on location around Mayfair and at London’s Elstree Studios.
