The Prophet launches IFI student night – we predict a riot!

Following the success of their student night back in October, the Irish Film Institute have announced their plans to make this a monthly occurrence.

The student night kicks off Monday, February 8th at 8:10 with Jacques Audiard’s acclaimed movie ‘A Prophet’:

The movie – stunningly directed by Jacques Audiard, is a gripping thrilling starring newcomer Tahar Rahim as Malik el Djebena, a young French-Arab convict who gets six years in a brutal French prison and decides to try and keep his head down. However, his intentions are quickly scuppered when he’s taken under the wing of Corsican gang leader Cesar Luciani (Niels Arastrup) and forced to murder a fellow inmate (Hichem Yacoubi)…

Tickets for the event will be at a reduced rate of only €5 with discounted annual membership at €10, and €3 bottles of Paulaner for after the show.
