British stars to lead the indie drama…
Idris Elba (‘Thor: The Dark World’) and Gemma Arterton (‘The Voices’) are leading the cast of Irish filmmaker Jim O’Hanlon indie drama ‘One Square Mile.’
Currently in production, the film focuses on four people with extraordinary stories that are all lived out within a square mile in contemporary London.
Deadline has Elba playing an ex-rugby superstar, with Arterton as his estranged wife. Steven Mackintosh (‘Kick-Ass 2’), Adam Bakri (‘Omar’),
Franz Drameh (‘Edge of Tomorrow’), Kierston Wareing (‘Fish Tank) also star.
In addition to starring, Elba will take a producers credit, alongside Pippa Cross, the film’s scribe Leon Butler, Carl F Pauwels, Farah Durrani, and Ros Hubbard.
