Hugh Jackman has signed on to play PT Barnum in the upcoming musical The Greatest Showman On Earth.
The film follows the entrepreneur as he founds a travelling circus. Barnum’s obsession with opera singer Jenny Lind will also be explored, with Anne Hathaway being eyed for the romantic interest role.
Jackman will produce Showman with Laurence Mark, extending their working relationship after teaming up for this year’s Oscars.
