7. For You Eyes Only
The whole series is chock-full of booby traps - traditionally Bond villains don't really like to get their hands dirty, preferring to work through henchmen or elaborate booby traps. Bond must have lost track at this stage of how many times he has avoided being blown up! The king of the booby trap has to be Blofeld, who spends his many appearances in the Bond franchise thinking of elaborate but ultimately unsuccessful deaths for his enemy. Our favourite is in For Your Eyes Only, as Blofeld traps Bond inside a remote control helicopter.
8. Death Race 2000
Don't worry folks, we're not talking about the recent remake here (the less said about that the better!) but the classic Roger Corman B movie of 1975. David Carradine plays Frankenstein, a man machine built to win the Transcontinental Road Race - one that has little or no rules. The film is full of car based booby trap - our favourite being the explosive packed baby doll launched onto the track.
