Chevy Chase confirmed to be returning.
Deadline has learned that Gillian Jacobs is set to join the cast of Steve Pink’s comedy sequel ‘Hot Tub Time Machine 2.’
Jacobs will take the female lead opposite fellow newcomer Adam Scott (‘Parks and Recreation’) and returning cast members Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, and Clark Duke. The actress’ former ‘Community’ co-star Chevy Chase is returning to reprise his role as the repairman.
The plot reportedly sees the gang travelling into the future and meeting up with Scott’s character, who is playing the son of John Cusack’s character from the first film.
Principal photography is underway with filming taking place in New Orleans.
