HORRIBLE BOSSES Scribes to Direct VACATION Reboot

Scribes to turn hands to directing for reboot/sequel.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the scribes behind ‘Horrible Bosses’ and the currently in production magician comedy ‘Burt Wonderstone,’ are reportedly in talks to make their directorial debut with a reboot of ‘Vacation.’

According to THR, the scribes have been working on a screenplay that works both as a sequel and a reboot, with the film following a now grown-up Rusty Griswold, and his experiences and misadventures with his own family as he takes them on a road trip to Wally World before it closes forever.

The comedy franchise began with the 1983 Harold Ramis-directed comedy ‘National Lampoon’s Vacation’ and continued with ‘European Vacation,’ ‘Christmas Vacation’ and ‘Vegas Vacation.’
