Ali Larter in talks to join Joshua Jackson in UFO
“Heroes” and Resident Evil actress Ali Larter is in talks to join Joshua Jackson in the new adaptation of Gerry Anderson’s 1970s cult UK sci-fi series UFO.
UFO is the feature film version of the British TV series that will be directed by visual effects wiz Matthew Gratzner. Jackson will star as Paul Foster, a test pilot who joins S.H.A.D.O. (Supreme Headquarters Alien Defense Organization), a covert org built under a Hollywood studio that defends Earth against a race of aliens who have been abducting humans and using the body parts. Larter will play Col. Virginia Lake, played in the original series by British actress Wanda Ventham.
The actress is currently in Toronto shooting Resident Evil: Afterlife.
