Big screen outing of the viral short on the way.
Mike Fleming over at Deadline has word that Liam Hemsworth (‘Paranoia,’ ‘The Expendables 2,’ ‘The Hunger Games’) is in line to take the lead in the sci-fi conspiracy thriller ‘The Raven.’
With Ricardo de Montreuil directing from a script by Michael Gilio and Justin Marks, the film is based on the Montreuil’s viral short and is set in an alternate and futuristic Los Angeles. Chris Black possesses a power that could lead to the destruction of the current regime, and they will stop at nothing to destroy him. The chase is on as Chris runs for his life.
‘The Raven’ is being produced by Stephen Levinson and Mark Wahlberg, with Oly Obst on board as executive producer. You can view Montreuil’s short below.
