Anne Heche has replaced Jennifer Jason Leigh in new rom-com ‘Spread’. The film will be helmed by ‘Hallam Foe’ Director David MacKenzie.
No clear reason has been giving for Leigh’s departure, but the Hollywood Reporter suggests Leigh withdrew from the project last week as she is expecting a baby with director husband Noah Baumbach.
The movie stars Ashton Kutcher as a serial womaniser, with Heche now playing one of his old spurned flames. According to IMDB, Laura Linney is also linked to the project though no information is available as to her part.
