Harrison Ford Signs Up for ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES

Han Solo joining Ron Burgundy for comedy sequel.

Harrison Ford has reportedly signed on for a role in Adam McKay’s ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues.’

Scheduled to begin filming this month, the film finds Ron Burgundy and his San Diego news crew at the dawn of the 24-hour news cycle. According to THR, Ford will be playing a legendary newscaster. The actor had a role similar to in 2010’s ‘Morning Glory.’

Ford will be joining returning cast members Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, David Koechner and Paul Rudd as well as fellow newcomers Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker, and Meagan Good. John C. Reily is rumoured to be in line for a role.

Ford has a trio of films hitting cinemas hitting cinemas this year: the Jackie Robinson biopic ’42,’ the Robert Luketic-directed thriller ‘Paranoia,’ and writer/director Gavin Hood’s anticipated sci-fi epic ‘Ender’s Game.’
