Ford reprising his role of Corellian smuggler turned Rebel hero?
While the following has yet to be officially confirmed by Disney and Lucasfilm, Umberto “El Mayimbe” Gonzalez over at Latino Review is hearing word that Harrison Ford is set to return as Han Solo in ‘Star Wars: Episode VII.’
Gonzalez said that he triple checked his scoop with legitimate sources, implying that Ford’s deal is done but has yet to be made formal. How big the 70-year-old star’s role will be in the new films is unknown but according to the sources, it’s “significant.”
Set for release summer 2015, ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ will be directed by J.J. Abrams with Michael Arndt providing the script.
