Actress back on board for thriller.
Variety reports that Halle Berry (‘Cloud Atlas,’ ‘Things We Lost in the Fire’) has signed up to lead Brad Anderson’s fast-paced suspense thriller ‘The Hive.’
Based on an original story by Nicole D’Ovidio, Jon Bokencamp and screenwriter Rich D’Ovidio the thriller is set against the backdrop of a 911 call center, and finds Berry playing an emergency operator who must face her own fears in order to save a teenage girl from a disturbed killer.
Berry was attached to project when it was originally set up with Joel Schumacher as director but personal scheduling forced the actress to drop out. When the start date was pushed back the actress recommitted to fim.
