Halle Berry eyes Paul Verhoeven’s “The Surrogate”
Halle Berry is eyeing the lead role in recently-announced thriller The Surrogate.
The story centres on a couple who hire a woman to carry their child, only to discover midway through the pregnancy that she is insane.
Paul Verhoeven will direct the movie, his first in Hollywod since 2000’s Hollow Man, from a script by Rod and Bruce Taylor (The Brave One).
