Teenage Oscar nominee joins action-thriller.

Hailee Steinfeld (‘Romeo & Juliet,’ ‘True Grit’) is to co-star with Vince Vaughn in the graphic novel adaptation ‘Term Life,’ according to TheWrap.

Created by writer A.J. Lieberman and illustrated by Nick Thornborrow, the Image Comics title follows “Nick Barrow (Vaughn), a low-life who specializes in planning heists and tricks before selling them off to the highest bidder. When one of his heists goes bad, everyone involved wants him dead, from mob bosses to corrupt cops. Performing the last act of a desperate man, Nick takes out a million dollar insurance policy on himself, payable to his estranged daughter (Steinfeld). The problem? The policy doesn’t take effect for 21 days.”

Actor/filmmaker Peter Billingsley (‘Couples Retreat’) is attached to direct with Lieberman providing the script. Micah Mason and Victoria Vaughn are producing.

Steinfeld will next be seen starring alongside Asa Butterfield, Harrison Ford, and Ben Kingsley in the Gavin Hood-directed adaptation of ‘Ender’s Game’ when it arrives in Irish cinemas October 25th.
